EcoVadis closes a first financing round of 1MEUR
Paris, October 11th 2007 - EcoVadis, a pioneer in Sustainable Supply Management
solutions, announced it has closed a preferred round of funding of 1M?? with a group
of private investors, specialized in Supply Chain, CSR and Outsourcing services.
According to a survey by HEC School of Management, of some of the 100 largest
European firms (detailed results of the study will be released on Nov. 8th), 89% of
procurement directors consider Sustainable Procurement as one of their priorities for
2007. However 40% of them, also indicate that the « lack of adapted tools » is the
key roadblock to successful implementation of Sustainable Supply Management
practices.
EcoVadis Sustainable Supply Management solution is helping procurement
organizations bridge this gap. This round of funding will allow EcoVadis, to accelerate
development of its innovative software platform, and to extend the coverage of its
suppliers CSR performance evaluation solution.
Further to this round of funding, Fréderic Jousset, co-founder and co-President of

joins EcoVadis board of directors:
