Sustainability in our business processes is a key strategic goal at Wacker Chemie AG, and has been defined as a behavioral principle in our company policy. There is a strong underlying culture of Belron Corporate Responsibility which we call the Spirit of Belron. By adopting Ecovadis as our internal KPI on Belron Corporate Responsibility, each of our businesses can benchmark their own performance against other organisations. They can also identify priorities for improvement and develop their own action plans. In addition, it shows us centrally how the group is performing and where we can provide support for common opportunities across the group. It facilitates the sharing of best practices between companies.

Arkema first discovered the Ecovadis platform as a supplier, following requests from some of its customers. To be assessed by Ecovadis, filling the questionnaire and particularly joining relevant documents needed some significant efforts. However, having implemented Arkema Corporate Social Responsibility vision, actions and performance tracking and already reporting on them, We were able to fully answer this questionnaire and appreciate its content. CSR is a continuous progress process. A strength of Ecovadis approach is that it allows Arkema to communicate through its platform with our customers on our CSR improvement actions. It is based on this experience that we have decided to ask, our turn, Arkema suppliers to be assessed by Ecovadis.
