Andre Borschberg of Solar Impulse gave the opening keynote

“Technology is not nearly as important as the right mindset… Change is difficult because It takes more time to ‘de-learn’ than to learn something new…”

The expert panel on “When Management And Law Overlap” brought together Legal (Latham & Watkins), Reporting (GRI) and Development (Human Rights Resource Center) views on challenges with modern slavery in the supply chain, and how to move forward.

The afternoon workshops provided a deep dive into specific topics. The track on best practices covered topics such as Circular Economy in the packaging industry, and a session from IT/Technology leader Atos on how to maintain a coherent program through a heavy growth-by-acquisition cycle.
